CLEAN UP!

Thabazimbi – The Thabazimbi Local Municipality (TLM) and stakeholders held a massive clean-up campaign in Thabazimbi, Ipelegeng and Regorogile on Tuesday, 13 March. 

The stakeholders in the campaign were: TLM (tipper and truck), Kumba Iron Ore mine (tipper and truck), Rhino Andalusite mine (refuse bags, face masks and gloves), Siyanda-Bakgatla Platinum mine (refuse bags and gloves); Godisang Trust (refuse bags, gloves, face masks, brooms, rakes and 500 bottles of water), EWPW and CWP (wheelbarrows, brooms, refuse bags and gloves), Marakele National Park (grass cutting machines).

“Cleaning our communities and environment is important to us. We thank all the stakeholders for their contributions, time and effort,” said councillor Midah Moselane, mayor of TLM. 
The campaign will continue to other municipal areas.
