DRUG BUST  IN NORTHAM

Northam – A provincial drug team, the Northam Crime Investigation Service acting on a tip-off went to house in Block 3 RDP where they arrested a suspect for drug possession on Thursday, 17 May.

The police confiscated numerous plastic bags containing dagga. 

According to lieutenant colonel Moatshe Ngoepe, police spokesperson, the suspect confirmed that the narcotics belonged to his brother and that he was in Welgeval. Members reacted swiftly and arrested the second suspect.
