Police offering a R300 000 reward.

Limpopo – A R300 000 reward is offered by the Limpopo police for any information that can assist them to arrest a suspect(s) involved in the murder of former police spokesperson colonel Mohlabi Lazarus Tlomatsana.

Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo of Limpopo police said colonel Tlomatsana was found murdered and his body burnt beyond recognition in his car, a Mercedes Benz, in the bushes adjacent to the R37 road between Lebowakgomo and Burgersfort.

The police are following all possible leads. “We are offering the reward and ask people to come forward with information,” said brigadier Mojapelo.

The gruesome discovery was made by a passing motorist on Saturday 3 February 2018. When asked why it took so long for the police to issue the reward, brigadier Mojapelo said the police had to wait for the conclusion of forensic investigations.
