Rest in peace Lance 

Swartklip/ Thabazimbi – The community of Swartklip is saddened by the loss of Lance Alan McGill, who tragically died in a car accident on 30 September at the age of 22.

Lance grew up in Swartklip and attended Frikkie Meyer Highschool in Thabazimbi.
“Lance was our middle child, our gentle giant. He was strong and tough, yet he had a gentle heart. He was a wonderful son, a great friend and a caring and faithful boyfriend.

Lance knew the Lord and is with Him now. He led a very busy life and loved people. He had a good sense of humour and a quick wit. We will always love you my boy and know that one day we will see you again,” his farther Allan McGill and mother Sandy McGill wrote in his memorial message. 

Lance is described as a loyal friend and will be sorely missed. Lance’s memorial service was held on Friday 5 October at the Living Word Centre.
