Thabazimbi – Daar is tans baie behoeftige gesinne in Thabazimbi wat jou hulp nodig het. Thabazimbi SAVF het baie dringend babaprodukte en klere nodig om vir die gesinne te gee – veral kinderklere. Alle klere wat nie aan die gesinne gegee word nie, sal in hul winkel verkoop word en die geld word gebruik om kos en noodsaaklike items aan te koop.

Facelift for the Thabazimbi Shelter
Thabazimbi – Thabazimbi Shelter, a haven for the homeless, was in urgent need of refurbishment when a generous donation of paint, sanding paper, door handles and locks, tools, fittings, and fixtures were received from anonymous donors.

Setaria – Safe Haven in Setaria is ‘n veilige hawe vir wegloop troeteldiere. Hier neem hulle die diere in en versorg hulle tot ‘n nuwe huis kan kry. Om een van die viervoete deel van jou gesin te maak, kontak Christel Steenkamp op 082 574 3379.

Protect pets from heatstroke
Thabazimbi – Summer is here and so are the hot, long days. Pets often do not have the luxury of cooling off in a swimming pool or an air-conditioned room and can experience heat stroke. “Responsible pet owners make sure that their pets have enough water and shelter to protect them from the scorching summer sun,” said Thabazimbi Animal Rescue (TAR) kennel manager Magda Steward.

Children’s safe haven calls for help
Thabazimbi – Thabelang Lesedi is a newly registered non-profit organisation that provides a haven for vulnerable children. To improve the lives of the children in their care they are in urgent need of food, clothing, sports equipment including balls, cleaning products, toiletries and old or new educational toys.

Help ‘n boer, help ‘n student
SA – Solidariteit Helpende Hand het tydens die COVID-19-inperking ontsettend baie hulp vanaf ons land se boere ontvang. Daar was boere wat tonne groente, vrugte, meel, vleis ensovoorts geskenk het om te sorg dat ons aan ons behoeftige gesinne landwyd kan voorsien.

Lions saved Thanks to the NSPCA – captive lions in deplorable conditions relocated
Limpopo – Earlier this month, the National Council of SPCAs (NSPCA) Wildlife Protection Unit investigated two captive lion facilities, owned by the same person, in All Days Limpopo after receiving a complaint about severely underweight lions.
