Hartbeesfontein – One of the four men who escaped from police custody in Hartbeesfontein on Saturday 26 September has been rearrested.

South Africa – The firearm amnesty has been extended to 31 January 2020. All illegal and unwanted firearms, firearm parts and ammunition can be surrendered without fear of prosecution. The police would like to urge people to hand in their firearms as soon as possible and not wait until the last minute.
Brits/ Mooinooi – A 31-year-old man appeared before the Brits Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 15 September in connection with the alleged rape of a 13-year-old boy and will remain in custody until his next court appearance on Tuesday 22 September.

I almost fell victim to a job scam on Tuesday 15 September. I found an email address for a local mine where I could apply for vacancies available. I excitedly submitted my CV. After a few days, I phoned the number that was listed with the email address to find out if they received my CV.
